I'm a Manager and Financial Adviser at Invicta Financial in Christchurch. After graduating from the University of Otago, I joined Invicta as one of the firm's first advisers and have since progressed from Financial Adviser to Senior Financial Adviser to my current management role, helping drive the firm's growth into a nationwide team. I now lead advisers while remaining hands-on with clients, bringing an energetic, clear, and practical approach to personal insurance and KiwiSaver advice. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, I'm well-placed to support New Zealand's diverse community. Outside of work, I'm a competitive volleyball player, NBA fan, and coffee enthusiast.

Growing up, the dream wasn't to give insurance and KiwiSaver advice. I actually started out studying Health and Physical Education at the University of Canterbury, thinking I'd help people with their health. Instead, I ended up at Invicta Financial, helping people with their financial well-being. It wasn't the plan, but the longer I've done it, the more I've seen how much it matters. I believe long-term holistic well-being comes down to the habits and decisions we make every day. Whether it's securing the right cover, building better money habits, or looking after your health, it all adds up over time. My job is financial security, but if we talk long enough, you'll probably hear my thoughts on the rest too. I joined Invicta in its early days and now manage a team of advisers while staying hands-on with clients. I keep my advice simple, jargon-free, and in plain English — I want you to actually understand what you're signing up for and why. Outside of work, I'm into training, outdoor activities, and spending time with my dog Maisie. I'm always open to a chat finance, health, or otherwise.

I co-founded Invicta Financial with the goal of helping ordinary Kiwi families take control of their financial future. What started in Christchurch has grown into a nationwide team of over 20 advisers across Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. I'm self-motivated and results-driven, and I love what I do — whether that's helping someone get their KiwiSaver sorted for retirement or a first home, or making sure they have the right personal insurance in place. I studied at Lincoln University and hold a Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services from Open Polytechnic of New Zealand. As Managing Director, I focus on growing Invicta into a nationwide umbrella brand where clients can access all their key financial services in one trusted place. But I'm still hands-on with clients — that's the part I got into this for. Always happy to have a chat about KiwiSaver, insurance, or anything inbetween.
