Evidential High Growth Fund

At NZ$8.7 million, Evidential High Growth Fund is one of the smallest offerings in the aggressive category, running almost entirely in equities with 99 per cent in growth assets. The fund charges 0.8 per cent annually in management fees with no performance or other fees on top.

The portfolio leans heavily on Dimensional funds, with more than 40 per cent of assets sitting in three sustainability-screened trusts covering global, Australian and emerging markets. That leaves roughly a third of the fund in direct New Zealand holdings, dominated by infrastructure and energy names: Infratil, Contact, Meridian and Mercury together account for nearly 5 per cent. A2 Milk and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare round out a top ten that tilts toward locally familiar large caps. International shares make up 69 per cent of the total, Australasian shares 29 per cent, with a sliver in cash.

The fund launched too recently to carry performance data, so there is no track record to assess. Its structure suggests a high-growth mandate built around sustainability filters and a home bias that runs deeper than many global aggressive funds. The fee sits in the middle of the category range.
