Westpac's Growth Fund sits 1st in its category for the past year with a 12.8% return, managing $3.6 billion across 82% growth assets. The total fee is 0.55%, with no performance or other fees charged on top.

More than half the fund lives in international shares, led by NVIDIA at 2.78%, followed by Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet and Taiwan Semiconductor. Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is the largest single holding at 2.63%, heading a 22% allocation to Australasian shares that includes Infratil, Auckland Airport and Contact Energy. The fund also holds an S&P 500 futures position at 1.66%. Listed property takes 6.1%, while bonds split roughly evenly between New Zealand government debt at 7.14% and international bonds at 10.78%.

The fund's recent year outpaced its three-year record, which ranks 10th in category at 13.8% annualised. Over five years it has delivered 6.6% annually, placing 16th. The portfolio tilts heavily toward large-cap technology and New Zealand blue chips, with bonds and property providing the balance typical of a high-growth allocation.
