Booster Growth charges a total fee of 1.28 percent, placing it among the most expensive growth funds on the market. That fee sits well above the category median, eating into a fund that holds $787 million in member assets and returned 9.1 percent over the year to March 2025, landing it 20th in its category.

The fund allocates 43 percent to international shares and 26 percent to Australasian equities, with a notably chunky slice in unlisted property at 5.7 percent. Its top holdings reflect a home-country tilt: Fisher & Paykel Healthcare leads at 2.5 percent, followed by Nvidia at 1.9 percent and a 1.7 percent stake in Iport Drive Rolleston Warehouse, a direct property holding. Apple, Infratil, Auckland Airport and Canterbury Grasslands round out a portfolio that blends New Zealand corporate mainstays with US tech giants. Over three years the fund returned 12 percent annually, ranking 18th, while its five-year result of 6.6 percent a year put it 17th.

The fee structure includes an 0.11 percent charge labelled as "other", with no separate management fee disclosed and no performance fee applied. Growth assets make up 78 percent of the portfolio, with the remainder in bonds, cash and listed property.
