The InvestNow Salt Capital Growth fund charges 1.14 percent in total annual fees, a figure that places it at the higher end of the growth category where most funds sit between 0.4 and 1.0 percent. The fund holds NZ$6.2 million in assets and delivered a 4.1 percent return over the year to March 2025, landing it 31st among growth funds tracked by WealthWatch.

The fund invests entirely through the Salt Capital Growth Fund, which spreads capital across international shares (41 percent), Australasian shares (27 percent), international bonds (15 percent) and listed property (12 percent). The remainder sits in cash and other holdings. This structure gives the fund exposure to both equity markets and income-producing assets, a blend typical of growth funds designed for investors with time horizons of ten years or more. The allocation to bonds and property provides some diversification away from pure equity risk, though growth assets still dominate.

Salt Capital Growth is a relatively small fund within the KiwiSaver landscape, and its one-year performance places it in the lower half of its peer group. The fee level reflects the active management approach embedded in the underlying Salt fund.
