SuperLife Balanced splits its $85.8 million across roughly equal slabs of international shares (40 percent), bonds (33 percent combined New Zealand and international), and Australasian equities (14 percent). The portfolio leans on broad market ETFs for thematic exposure—Vanguard's emerging markets fund, iShares global infrastructure and global property—then layers in direct holdings of the US tech giants. Nvidia takes 2.07 percent, Apple 1.87 percent, Microsoft 1.31 percent, Amazon a round 1 percent. Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is the sole New Zealand stock in the top ten. Cash sits at 7 percent, with a further 3.6 percent in the infrastructure ETF classified as other assets.

Performance has been uneven across timeframes. The fund placed 14th over one year with a 10.1 percent return and 20th over three years at 10.9 percent annualised, but climbed to 8th over five years with 6.1 percent per year. The total fee of 0.6 percent includes a 0.1 percent performance component alongside the 0.58 percent management charge.
